基本內容
98年秋天成軍的OK Go，陣中三位成員吉他手Andrew Duncan、貝斯手Tim Nordwind與鼓手Dan Konopka其實早已組成Stanley's Joyful Noise樂團開始活動，最後才加入由華盛頓DC移居至芝加哥的主唱Damian Kulash底定編制並正式更名。短短几個月的時間內，OK Go便在尚未有任何專輯問世的情況下得到傳媒的高度矚目，這完全要歸功於該團密集的演出(包括為Elliott Smith等暖場)以及活力十足的現場颱風；甚至不僅National Public Radio名主持人Ira Glass與Gretchen Helfrich對他們青睞有加，就連傳奇獨立樂團They Might Be Giants鬼才主腦John Flansburgh也看上該團潛力而出任經紀人。獨立發表兩首單曲後，OK Go於2001年四月簽入主流大廠Capitol旗下，並在一年多後祭出這張團名處男大碟OK Go。
