The Breeders 1990年成立於美國，開始時只是Pixies（小妖精）樂隊的貝司手Kim Deal和Throwing Muses（遺棄的宙斯）的吉他手Tanya Donelly為排遣多餘的創作精力而組建的。在Tanya Donelly離隊後Kim Deal讓自己的妹妹加入了樂隊。英文簡介
