專輯背景
本張合輯屬於Motown從未發行系列，所有曲目都是以前未發行的，除了"Love's Gone Bad" and "I Was Made to Love Her"，這兩首單曲在1979摩城唱片公司 （Motown）發行的搖滾合輯中發布過。
本張合輯於1991年8月重新發行，專輯名為 Looking Back to Yesterday: A Young Michael，共售出五十萬份。2009年，作為 Hello World: The Motown Solo的一部分，再次進行了發行。
