簡介
Evanescence（幻滅；伊凡塞斯）由主唱AmyLee、主奏吉他手BenMoody、第二吉他手JohnLeCompt及鼓手RockyGray等四位來自美國阿肯色州的年輕人所組成。樂隊的主打旗幟是“女子版聯合公園”，光是這個宣傳詞就足以調起很多人的胃口。
樂隊最有影響力的一張專輯就是2003年3月的Fallen，隨著兩首歌的大熱讓專輯銷量迅速攀升，樂隊終於紅了起來。專輯迅速賣過2百萬張，在美國登上銷量前十，在當代基督音樂榜上坐到冠軍，在加拿大奪得第五，英國爬到第一。年底的時候，獲得了第46屆格萊美的5項提名，包括年度最佳專輯，最佳新人等。
