In paragraph 12 ，the author talks about another group of show offs ,that [which] is Insecure showoffs, why are they insecure? there [There] is a close friend explained because they think other people don’t know that they are good unless they tell them, in addition, the writer said [says] that insecure showoff have many different techniques for talking.
When it comes to the paragraph 13, there are three sometimes, in my opinion, it expresses three kinds of showoffs, but we need pay attention to the last showoff because the following paragraph is the same meaning.
As far as I am concerned, the paragraph 14:”now that‘s impressive is an emphasize, the word that refers to the previous sentence “sometimes folks achieve great things and nonetheless do not show off about it.”
In paragraph 15, the author set a [sets an] example to explain the word “that”, the quiet mother of four who has been elected to the state senate talking with us intimately all evening , we are filled with admiration, astonishment ,awe even if she never even mentioned it. It is sure of make us impressive. What is more, the last sentence use [uses] three with, it is a sentence pattern with add noun also make me impressive.
The last paragraph is an interjection. We can see that the author is filled with admiration for her self-restraint.
