中國石化聯合會科技進步一等獎已在“Chem. Soc. Rev.”、“Adv. Mater.”、“Adv. Funct. Mater.”、“Chem. Commun.”、“Green Chem.”等國內外學術刊物發表論文200餘篇，其中SCI收錄120餘篇，獲授權中國發明專利5件。

主要研究基於聚合物、表面活性劑的軟物質材料的設計、製備、性能和套用研究，包括：智慧型聚合物、粘彈性表面活性劑以及其在石油開採特別是三次採油中的套用；水溶性聚合物的新型合成方法；聚合物溶液物理化學性質等。
