個人經歷
許成林博士在天津大學獲得精密儀器系學士(85)與碩士(88)學位,在加拿大Waterloo大學獲電器工程系博士學位(94)。
許成林博士擁有2項美國專利,在國際光電子領域核心期刊和國際性學術會議上發表學論文50餘篇,期刊論文全部被SCI收錄,累計引用率達500多次,單篇引用率達115次。他創建的全矢量Beam Propagation Method和Optical Waveguide Mode Solver已被世界上光電子技術CAD領域中所有的五家公司採用。同時,許成林博士也是Apollo Photonics公司一系列國際領先的光電子技術CAD軟體的主要開發者和技術支持者。
就職於國外時,許成林博士積極參與與國內大學在教學和科研合作。他曾多次來山東大學短期授課;作為項目負責人,他在北京交通大學從事國家自然科學基金委員會的重點項目的研究。
