至愛和最愛其實是有很大區別的。至愛是一種將所愛之物幾近神聖化的情感感受，是一種絕對的概念，其他所有已經存在的還是將要存在的愛都要處於其次。而最愛只是個相對的概念，沒有這種神聖化的意涵，只是在已經存在的愛中，相對來說是最愛的，如果有其他的愛的加入，這個最愛的地位就要出現動搖。最愛其實是有條件的，隨著時間的變化而有可能在心理層面有所變化的。

劇情簡介

傑夫和希瑟貝克是一生的伴侶，他們有著幸福的婚姻。但在傑夫最虛弱的時候，希瑟卻遺棄了傑夫，傑夫不得不獨身撫養小兒子。10年後，通過某種神跡而相遇，傑夫和希瑟再次見面。希瑟得到傑夫的寬恕，他們的心得到解放。

Jeff and Heather Baker were life long sweethearts and happily married... for a time. But at her greatest moment of weakness, Heather abandons Jeff, forcing Jeff to raise their young son alone.
