影片講述了曾是參與越戰，獲知許久未見的兒子自殺的訊息，雖然被告知兒子是喝醉跳樓自殺，但看著悲傷的孫女、兒子身上奇怪的瘀傷，以及沒有喝醉的證據，起光於是懷疑兒子的死因不單純，警方拒絕重新調查後，起光決定自己找出兒子遇害的原因。
