研究領域簡介
1. Organic/Medicinal chemistry: Design and synthesis of new imaging and therapeutic agents targeted on cancer and microbial pathogens.2. Peptide chemistry: Development of novel linkers for solid phase peptide synthesis.
3. Pharmaceutical Chemistry: Design and synthesis of novel prodrugs of peptides and peptide mimetics aimed at enhancing their bioavailability and target selectivity; design and synthesis of substrates for the intestinal small peptide transporter as potential vectors for drug delivery.
4. Bioorganic chemistry/molecular recognition: Development of fluorescent sensors for the recognition and analysis of molecules of biological importance.
國內外學習和工作經歷
1982年畢業於北京醫科大學(現北京大學醫學部)藥物化學系獲學士學位.1991年在美國堪薩斯大學藥學院藥化系獲博士學位。
1991年-1993年 美國亞利桑那大學化學系和堪薩斯大學藥學院藥物化學系進行博士後研究工作。
1994年受聘俄克拉荷馬大學醫學中心藥學院助理教授
1996年受聘北卡羅萊納州立大學化學系助理教授,2000年任終身教授。
2003年7月,受聘喬治亞州立大學化學系教授及喬治亞研究聯合會藥物研究領域傑出學者
2007年4月,受聘教育部長江學者講座教授
