1964.10生於江蘇省連雲港市。1980.09-1984.07北京師範大學學士。1984.08-1993.08中國礦業大學助教、碩士、博士。1993.10-2002.12清華大學化工系博士後、講師、副教授。1997.08-1998.10日本東京大學化工系客員研究員。2002.12-Present清華大學化工系教授,博士生導師。
