沈衛國，男，漢族，1952年12月生，浙江湖州人 畢業於安徽財貿學院財政金融專業。
任職
1968年11月參加工作。1968年11月至1970年1月 安徽省貴池縣銅山公社 下放知青，1970年1月至1975年4月 安徽省貴池縣銅山公社黃湓國小 民辦教師，1975年4月至1978年10月 安徽省貴池縣銅山信用社 業務員，1978年10月至1982年8月 安徽財貿學院財政金融專業 學生，1982年月至1998年2月 安徽省財政廳辦公室辦事員、秘書、主任科員、副主任、主任，預算處處長，副廳長、黨組副書記，1998年2月至2000年11月 安徽省地稅局 局長、黨組副書記、黨組書記，2000年11月至2001年1月 安徽省池州地區行政公署專員、地委副書記，2001年1年至今 安徽省池州市人民政府市長、市委副書記。2003年3月任蕪湖市代市長。2006年4月任安徽省發展和改革委員會主任。

個人簡介
沈衛國：工學博士，副研究員，碩士生導師。1994年畢業於武漢工業大學矽酸鹽工程系，留校從事科研開發工作， 2000年取得碩士學位，2005年取得博士學位，2003年破格提升為副研究員。
2005年9~2006年8月赴美國西北大學（Northwestern University）做訪問博士後研究，合作教授是著名水泥化學家Hamlin. H Jennings。從事新型水泥基材料（safety concrete）的開發和水泥基材料納米尺度微觀結構（Nano-scale microstructure）的研究。
發表論文80餘篇，其中被EI、SCI或ISTP收錄的論文有18篇，承擔項目8項，作為技術負責人參與科研項目10餘項，其中國家自然科學基金1項，交通部九•五攻關項目1項，西部交通建設項目2項，作為一般參與者參與項目20餘項。獲得湖北省科技進步獎兩項。申報發明專利8項（6項為第1完成人、2項為第2完成人），已有三項專利得到授權，實質性審查通過一項，其餘在審查過程中。
