曾鹿平的油畫研究是建立在表現一個移民畫家的藝術發展和實踐。連線新環境，產生新觀點，作品質問曾鹿平對澳大利亞的社會和文化的認識，他們也將會是一種挑戰，不可避免的在不同社會裡的文化衝突，社會問題的關係和研究。
曾鹿平的油畫研究願望是要發現中國和澳大利亞之間的多樣文化和社會觀點。創造新的油畫視覺，要將中國文化理念通過對西方文化的研究進行改變出新的視覺效果。
