簡介
60年代初，開始給紐約的現代藝術博物館寫評介美國老電影導演的文章，如J.福特、O.威爾斯、H.霍克斯、A.德萬等，出版了關於他們的書。1966年進入影界，先當助理導演,後寫劇本,1968年在科曼（Roger Corman）的支持下導演了他的第一部影片Targets (1968) 。以後又曾和F.F.科波拉、W.弗蘭特金等人合辦了一家發行公司，從而走上了導演兼製片的道路。博格達諾維奇是美國在60年代末到70年代大量湧現的新一代導演的代表之一。
