口譯,是人類交流思想所藉助的重要手段之一。在甲乙所方互不通曉對方語言的情況下,若要進行會談、交涉、說理、談判,通訊進行科技、工農業生產、文藝、貿易、防務、企業管理等方面的友好合作與經驗交流,口譯是不可缺少的一個橋樑;在許多國家代表出席的國際會議上,口譯更屬必不可少的一項工作。在了解情況、洋為中國用以促進祖國的四化大業方面,在反地霸權主義,維護世界和平的事業中,口譯也是一項重要的工作。作者介紹
作者簡介鍾述孔,1949年畢業於四
川大學英國語文學系(文學
士。1950年人外交部亞洲司
工作併兼任外交部高級翻譯。
1965年後,任北京外國語學
院副教授、外交學院兼職教
授,後任聯合國“中國譯員培
訓部”兼職教授。1980年起,
參與一系列國際會議。後出
任聯合國總部技術合作促進
發展部政策與發展規劃司司
長。1990年任外交部國際司
公使銜參贊;曾出席國際經
濟、發展、環境領域的一系列
多邊談判會議;後任外交部
環境問題特別顧問至今。目
前仍受聘外交學院的兼職教
授。著作有:《英漢翻譯手冊》
(商務印書館,1980年)、《實
用口譯手冊》(中國對外翻譯
出版公司,1981年、1999年增
訂版)、《21世紀的挑戰和機
遇》(世界知識出版社,1992
年)、《國際經濟關係和全球
環境與發展》(英文,經貿大
學出版社,1993年)等 書。
