國內分布：產四川西部至西南部、貴州西部、雲南西北部和西藏東南部。生於海拔1 000—3 300 (--4000)米的灌叢中或森林下．緬甸東北部也有分布，等模式標本采自四川寶興． 四川米易的農民常用其根熬水餵牛治牛跌傷後腹瀉。
