主要從事環境磁學、乾旱區環境及城市污染等研究。

國家自然科學基金：城市顆粒污染物磁學特性研究-以蘭州市大氣降塵和街道塵埃為例, 2006-2008,執行人；
國際合作重點項目（973）：阿拉善高原及毗鄰地區沙漠與生態環境的變化過程和機制研究，2003-2007，專題負責人；
