歷史沿革：1986年經貿英語系，1996年經貿英語系更名國際法商學院，2007年國際法商學院與管理學院合併組建現國際商學院。History:In1986theDepartmentofBusinessEnglish(DBE)wasestablished;in1996theDBEwasrenamedSchoolofInternationalLawandBusiness;in2007SchoolofInternationalLawandBusinessandSchoolofManagementweremergedtoformtheSchoolofInternationalBusiness(SIB).
四川外語學院國際商學院是為順應經濟全球化發展趨勢，適應教育國際化發展需求，根據四川外語學院學科建設發展需要而創立的新型商學院。國際商學院是四川外語學院最年輕、最富有活力和最具發展潛力的院（系）之一。
Inordertofollowthetrendofeconomicglobalizationandmeettheneedsofinternationaldevelopmentofeducation,theSchoolofInternationalBusiness,SichuanInternationalStudiesUniversity(SIB,SISU)wasanewbusinessschoolfoundedinaccordancewiththedemandofSISU’sdisciplinaryconstructionanddevelopment.Now,SIBistheyoungestandoneofthemostdynamicandpotentialdepartmentsinSISU.
國際商學院涵蓋經濟學、管理學、法學和文學四大學科，是四川外語學院學科門類最齊全的院系。現開辦了6個全日制本科專業：國際經濟與貿易、金融學、人力資源管理、旅遊管理、法學（國際經濟法）、英語（商務）。學院的辦學定位是：多學科、多層次、國際化。學院致力於培養通曉國際通用語言，諳熟國際經濟法規和慣例的複合型高素質涉外人才。在重慶市設立兩路寸灘保稅區、兩江新區等對外開放政策的背景下，國際商學院畢業生將大有作為。
Covering4disciplinesofEconomics,ManagementScience,LawaswellasLiterature,SIBhasthemostdisciplinarycategoriesinSISU.Thereare6full-timeundergraduatespecialtiesatpresent,namely,InternationalEconomicsandTrade,InternationalFinance,HumanResourcesManagement,TourismManagement,Law(withinternationaleconomiclawdirection)andEnglish(withbusinessdirection).Withtheschool-runningorientationofMulti-disciplinary,Multi-levelandInternationalized,theSIBiscommittedtofostercompoundhigh-qualityinternationaltalentswhoareproficientinEnglishandfamiliarwithinternationaleconomiclaws,regulationsandconventions.
學生的複合型知識結構表現在：一、經管法專業學生接受系統的專業學科教育,具有紮實的專業理論知識,諳熟國際經濟法規和管理慣例,英語達到相當於專業英語水平,並能用英語流暢地進行專業領域的交流和學習；二、英語（商務）專業學生接受系統的英語專業學科教育,具有紮實的英語專業知識和專業技能,諳熟國際經濟法規和管理慣例,商務專業知識達到相當於專業水平,並能用英語流暢地進行國際商務領域的交流和學習。三、我院非英語專業學生經學院批准，可參加全國英語專業八級考試(TEM-8)。
Thecompoundknowledgestructureofstudentsshowsasfollowing:First,studentsofeconomics,managementandlawspecialtiessystematicallyreceiveprofessionaldisciplinaryeducationwhiletheyhaveagoodEnglishlevelequivalenttoEnglishmajors.secondly,Englishmajorssystematicallyreceiveprofessionallanguageandcultureeducationwhiletheyhaveagoodmasterofbusinessknowledge.thirdly,uponapprovaloftheschool,non-EnglishmajorsofSIBcantakepartintheTEM-8(TestforEnglishMajors).
國際商學院的畢業生具有明顯的專業素養和外語優勢，一直以來就業狀況良好。畢業生集中分布在全國各地的政府機關、外企外貿、中外律師事務所、國際會計師事務所、涉外酒店、旅遊管理、旅遊服務、大專院校、科研機構、新聞機構、法院海關、汽車製造等相關單位，此外還為外交部、商務部、安全部、文化部、教育部等國家部門輸送了許多優秀人才。
國際商學院營造的“團結、和諧、發展、創新”的工作局面使之在複合型人才培養、學科建設和服務地方經濟社會發展的主戰場上駛入快車道，成為一個學科優勢突出,專業設定合理，師資力量雄厚、管理運作良好、綜合實力不斷提高的學院。

師資力量 Faculties
國際商學院擁有一支學術思想活躍，教學素質過硬，具有一流外語水平，同時又具備紮實的經濟、管理、法律、英語專業理論基礎的複合型教學科研隊伍。學院現有教職工62人，其中專任教師59人，平均年齡不到40歲。學院擁有教授3人，副教授14人，講師33人，教職工95%以上擁有國內外知名高校授予的碩士、博士學位，其中有博士學位的教師5人，在讀博士11人，教師中70%以上獲得國外大學學位、到國外進修或做過研究。學院還常年聘有外籍專家和教師，有12名知名教授、專家擔任學院的客座教授。近年來，學院在教學科研方面均取得了很大成就，出版有多部專著、譯著和教材，發表了大量的高水平學術論文，承擔過多項省部級以上研究課題。學院現有國務院政府津貼專家1人，市級學術技術帶頭人1人，校級學科帶頭人5人，校級學術帶頭人5人。根據學科建設發展需要，學院也正在積極引進和打造高職稱高學歷高水平的教學科研型師資隊伍，尤其是海外留學歸國人才。ThefacultiesinSIBareactiveinacademicthinking,solidinteachingquality.Theyhavesturdyprofessionalfoundations(ofeconomics,management,lawandEnglish)whiletheyaregoodatforeignlanguages.Thereare62teachingandstaffmembersinSIBatpresent,ofwhom,59arefull-timeteachers(3professors,14vice-professorsand33instructors)andaveragelybelow40yearsold.95%ofthestaffandteachingmembersholdmaster’sordoctoraldegreesofdomesticandforeignuniversities,ofwhom,5holddoctoraldegrees,11aretoreceivedoctoraldegrees,over70%havereceivedtheirdegreesfromoverseasuniversitiesoreverconductedfurthereducationandresearchabroad.Full-timeforeignexpertsandteachersserveinSIBand12renownedprofessorsorexpertsarerecruitedasvisitingprofessors.Inrecentyears,greatprogresshasbeenachievedinSIB’steachingandresearch,whichresultedinvarietiesofmonographs,translationworks,highertextbooks,high-levelacademicpapersaswellasundertakingofvariousresearchtopicsequivalenttoaboveprovinceorministry-level.Atpresent,thereis1expertenjoyingGovernmentalSpecialAllowanceofferedbytheStateCouncil,1municipality-levelAcademicLeaderand5University-levelDisciplinaryLeaders.Basedonthedemandofdisciplinaryconstruction,SIBisnowactivelybringinginandcreatingafacultyteamwith“seniortitle,highacademicqualificationandadvanced-level”,especiallythosewhostudyoverseasandreturntoChina.

國際項目 International Programs
國際商學院前身之一國際法商學院曾代管教育部直屬四川外語學院出國留學人員培訓部。國際商學院已與英國普利茅斯大學、英國女王大學、加拿大渥太華大學、愛爾蘭國家學院、美國堪薩斯州立大學等知名大學簽訂了辦學協定，聯展“2+2”“3+1”本科雙學位以及“2+2+2”“3+1+1”等多種聯合培養模式。SchoolofInternationalBusiness,SISUalwayshascloseconnectionswithmanywell-knowuniversitiesbothdomesticallyandabroadandoverseaslearningserviceagencies,thankstotheexperienceoftakinginchargeoftheSISUTrainingDepartmentforPersonnelGoingAbroad(directlysupervisedbytheMinistryofEducationofthePRC)onbehalfoftheUniversity.
Sofar,thefirstinternationaleducationprograms,suchas“2+2internationaldoubledegrees(UScolleges)”“1+1master’sdegreeinternationalcooperationprogram(USandUK)”“internshipprogramwithsalary(US)”,whicharemainlytargetedatthefull-timesundergraduatesofSIB.

輔 修 Minor Specialties
為了儘快適應我國進入WTO的迫切需要和服務於重慶新特區建設，培養跨專業、跨學科的複合型、創新型和套用型高素質人才，以拓展高等院校在校學生的知識面和就業渠道，根據2004年“渝教財（2004）26號”檔案精神和《四川外語學院本科生輔修第二專業管理辦法》，四川外語學院國際商學院開設了各類輔修第二專業課程班，同時開展相關培訓，面向四川外語學院、西南政法大學所有在校各專業的二、三年級本科生，自考生、研究生和社會各界人士。一、招生對象
四川外語學院、西南政法大學所有在校各專業的二、三年級本科生、自考生、研究生和社會各界人士。
二、輔修專業和考試培訓項目MinorSpecialtyandTrainingPrograms
國際經濟與貿易專業、國際金融專業、國際法學專業、人力資源管理專業、旅遊管理（飯店/導遊）專業。
InternationalEconomicsandTrade,InternationalFinance,InternationalLaw,HumanResourcesManagement,TourismManagement(Hotel/TouristGuide).
三、待遇與畢業TreatmentandGraduation
1、學位輔修的課程修讀年限為二年；授課時間為課餘時間（周五晚及周末）。
2、凡修完第二專業計畫規定的全部課程，參加相應的考試，成績合格者，頒發四川外語學院輔修第二專業畢業證書。
3、參加各類培訓的學生嚴格按學籍管理，培訓結束髮給國際商學院培訓結業證書。

培 訓 Training
國際商學院發揮自身優勢，開辦了報關員（重慶市報關協會指定培訓點）、國際貿易業務員（中國國際貿易學會指定培訓點）、商務英語和高等數學等培訓項目，並為中石油、長安福特、利寶保險等企事業單位開展經管法及商務英語培訓。Inaddition,tosatisfytheneedsofthestudentsinSISU,theSchoolofInternationalBusinesshaveestablishedaseriesoftrainingprogramsbytakingadvantageofitself,namely,TrainingProgramforCustomsBrokerExamination(appointedbytheCustomsBrokersAssociationofChongqingMunicipality),InternationalTradeSalesclerkTrainingProgram(trainingandexaminationspotdesignatedbytheChinaInternationalTradeAssociation)andHigherMathematicsTrainingProgram.
