劇情簡介
這是一部關於曾被美國時代雜誌選為20世紀代表人物之一的同性戀政治家哈維米克（Harvey Milk）的記錄片。
哈維米克是首個以公開同性戀者身份者角逐成功為美國舊金山市重要官員，生前致力爭取同性戀者的公民權益。他被暗殺前，很有希望當選為卡斯楚(舊金山最著名的同性戀街區)的市長。70年代間，當他推動通過舊金山市首個同性戀者的公民權益條例之際，Harvey Milk與他的政冶盟友George Moscone於1978年11月28日被保守派前舊金山市前警察官丹·懷特（Dan White）刺殺而死，事件喚醒了當地同性戀者，使他們對爭取自身權益作出了強烈的反省和回應。
