A simple title, however, I don’t know it actually. I mean the word “claims” and which content it would like to show. A story, and then contributes to the claim? Or a comparison which concludes to a result? Similarly, I was confused with “parity claim” in fact, of course, after my looking up the dictionary and asking the reference. If “parity products” here means the goods which are similar to others or could be substitutes for others, then whether we saw it the same meaning or not?
No grammar problems in the first passage, while some thoughts flashed in my mind. First of all, I believed that it is the fact that there is immunity in us to reject the advertisement. Nevertheless, I didn’t agree to other opinions just like [as]advertising is childish. That’s bias though not all advertisings are good or helpful. The second one I wondered was not only the value and desire can bring the purchase but also the special advertisement. Are there any classic advertisements still left [leaving]in you memory with those charming products, for instance, diamond, jeans, coffee? Generally speaking, the average person such as me wouldn’t buy a product because of somebody’s sentence but mostly determined by own hunch. After all, with the development of media, star[stars] as spokesman [are]becoming prevailing nowadays, which contributes to our sight covered by this kind advertisement with large amount. Anything too much will decrease its value, [and]that is right which told us don’t pay too much attention to the unnecessary things such as these luxuries.
A question like the title appeared in the third passage. It is a phrase “harmless nonsense”. Obviously, if we interpret it literally, it seems that there would be no relation between the former words and the latter ones, or[\] in another words, it is a paradox.
A reason was given in the next paragraph to introduce a possibility why there is a sense of resist of advertising. We can generalize it by using the word “exaggerate” or “unrealistic”. And it is familiar to us that so many complain [complains]are generated after we bought the goods.
In paragraph six, words were cited as an example said\] by Bing Crosby, a famous singer, to explain the difference between “better” and “best”, after which the author also listed the conditions which word could say. Compared with the behavior in the last passage, it could be called honesty or precise information.
There’s no doubt that the eighth passage is the one that summarizes the above paragraphs and then draws to the following components of the position.
