Totalselfhatred由樂隊成員A.( Guitars, Keys & Vocals )和C.(Guitars & Vocals )成立於2005年，樂隊致力於創作出真正意義上憂鬱而絕望的氛圍。同年成員N.( Bass & Backingvocals )作為貝斯手加入樂隊爾後三人於2006年一起發行了一張宣傳CD，這導致了他們終止了與Ordo Decimus Peccatum這家非常不錯的地下唱片公司的合作。2007年樂隊成員 (drums)和J. (keys)加入樂隊。
