showing off 2.7

those reason those

After reading paragraph19 to paragraph22, I had already known the general idea of those paragraphs. The author gives us some examples of exulting showoffs. The “exulting” meanings: to express great pleasure or happiness, esp. at someone else’s defeat or failure.

In author views, he thought exulting was a permissible form of showing off. I agree with his views. The husband Fires an egg to his wife and recognized as the greatest fired egg, it’s showing off love to his wife. A grandmother was used “gorgeous” three times to descried her grandson and want to everyone know her grandson was the most gorgeous baby they ever saw. Whether her grandson gorgeous or not, she only to show off love to her grandson.

In paragraph 22, I can’t understand why use “have’ and not “had”, I had just known the reason and my Roommate had told me that the mother would recognized as showoffs if used “had’. Maybe I didn’t pay any attention to grammar studying and lead me to encounted for the problem like this.

Although of my poor grammar knowledge, as those paragraphs too simple to understand for me, I tired to say something, however, I found no much to say.
