I read the paragraphs from 6-11 this evening .This is my second time to read them. However,[in ]this time ,I read carefully and enjoy the process of reading.
In the para6.the word"soar"make me a little confused.I look it up in my dictionary, and then I find it MEAS our standard grow dramaticly.Keep going, the last sectence in Para7 attracts me a lot. I believe it is an attitude towards our life. The happy people have the same characteristic. There is one word to describe these [the]happy people:optimistic.
The word empowered also make me puzzled.I can't understand why the words should be used in this sentence. If?[whether]we can use "be powered"instead of "empowered".
The three paragraphs left I could read it easily, this is not a tough job for me ,but challenging. When I finish my assignment today,I[have] find the truth of happiness, desire less you will get more happy[happiness].

From the passage, I got an idea that the writer doesn’t like narcissistic showoffs. He despised a narcissistic showoff that look [a narcissistic showoff that looks] like a clown. We can observe it in the place that they don’t bother to compete and they talk nonstop, they dance. Don’t you think it look like a clown in the circus? The writer is good at satirizing. At the end of tenth paragraph, in the first of sentence the writer said that they are often [they were used to be] adorable and charming and amusing that praise narcissistic showoffs. At the second the writer told us that “on until around the age of six”. What he wants to say? I think the writer doubt [that] the EQ of narcissistic showoffs who have EQ of six years old. So I think the writer is the expert in satirized.
And the writer also think narcissistic showoffs are alone. When the writer asked a narcissistic showoff[:插入個分號 ]“what’s the matter?” He replied that “but all of a sudden the talk started getting so superficial.” The writer’s emotion is complicated. He though that[those] narcissistic showoffs are poor mans.
