創作背景
《Yeah!》是亞瑟小子專輯《Confessions》中最後一首被收錄進去的歌曲。詞曲創作者肖恩·加勒特被詢問到能否提供一些可作為專輯首支單曲的歌曲。由於專輯中其它歌曲的風格偏向節奏布魯斯，因而肖恩想創作出一首具有動感的作品。創作過程之中，肖恩的兄弟提醒到他在幾年前有曾寫過幾首”內容瘋狂“的歌曲，而這幾首歌曲中包括了《Yeah!》的原型。在聽過歌曲原型後，L.A. 瑞德認為歌曲歌詞需要一定的深度和故事性，於是肖恩便將歌曲改編為了一個故事 。
而歌曲合作歌手之一的里爾·喬恩則同時身兼歌曲的製作人一職。里爾·喬恩在歌曲完成創作之前提供給了Jive唱片一份與歌曲類似的伴奏。當歌曲創作完成時，幾位創作者發現Jive唱片旗下藝人皮蒂·巴勃羅的《Freek-A-Leek》與歌曲使用的是相同的節奏。而Jive唱片公司則表明他們不願放棄《Freek-A-Leek》的立場。當時《Yeah!》已經錄製完成，並已製成黑膠唱片。在發現這個問題後，喬恩調整了歌曲的伴奏 。

《Yeah!》將具有感染力的節拍、簡單的副歌部分以及盧達克里斯的說唱三者結合，製作出了一首與嘻哈歌手尼力的歌曲《Hot in Herre》相配的派對歌曲 。歌曲具有出彩的節拍和流暢的旋律，而歌詞內容為男女之間的曖昧之情，迎合了節奏布魯斯音樂的主流聽眾的需要 。歌曲同時將美國南部的“曠課樂”曲風提升至一個全新的高度 。整首歌曲以G大調為主，每分鐘的節拍設定為104次，而歌手的聲域則位於Bb4至Bb5之間 。

截圖《Yeah!》的音樂錄影帶由Director X執導，在美國洛杉磯一處藝術畫廊內完成拍攝。音樂錄影帶找了四十位演員擔任伴舞。音樂錄影帶展示了亞瑟小子在舞池中被一位女性所吸引並與其共舞，以及他在藍色和綠色的鐳射光前舞蹈的畫面。而歌曲的兩位合作者里爾·喬恩和盧達克里斯也同時出現在音樂錄影帶中 。
這支音樂錄影帶借鑑了麥可·傑克遜《Rock With You》的音樂錄影帶。在拍攝這支錄影帶之前導演Director X並未有考慮到這些因素，而在拍攝之時，《Rock With You》的音樂錄影帶浮現在了他的腦海里，於是他便以此作為了拍攝的參考 。
