創作背景
True Colors_MV"True Colors"由Billy Steinberg與Tom Kelly操刀，是專輯中唯一非辛迪所寫的曲子，但此曲卻成為傳唱至今的雋永經典，後人更是翻唱不斷。真摯略啞的嗓音，與簡單純粹的弦樂、吉他編曲，及充滿正能量的歌詞讓這首歌的張力直接穿透身體，觸動最深層無法言喻的情緒。
"True Colors"成為辛迪的第二首美國冠軍單曲。辛迪對這首歌曲之所以產生共鳴，是因為這首歌讓辛迪想起因愛滋病而逝的舊交Gregory Natal。這首歌因此也成為同志圈的代表歌曲，辛迪也因此建立了"True Colors"基金會，主要受益民眾為男女同志人群，雙性戀以及變性人等弱勢群體。
