它是史克威爾（SQUARE）在98年推出的遊戲大作《寄生前夜(Parasite Eve)》的結尾曲。這是一首非常美妙的拉丁語歌曲。在拉丁語中，“Somnia”是“睡夢”的意思，而“Memorias”則是“記憶”的意思，“Somnia Memorias”合起來就是“夢的記憶”。負責音樂製作的是史克威爾的一位重要的女性音樂製作人——下村陽子，她的音樂以音樂節奏的自然流暢見長。其中《Somnia Memorias》一曲體現了一種陰暗、潮濕、冷感、高雅、下落不明的美，和遊戲本身驚艷的、詭異的、大氣磅礴的美相得益彰。
