Poets of the fall(以下簡稱Potf) 樂隊來自音樂天才層出不窮的國度---北歐芬蘭。 他們的故事開始於2002年芬蘭首都赫爾辛基。主音Marko和吉他手Ollie，兩位來自不同音樂背景的音樂人走到了一起，開始一同寫歌。“我們已經一起呆了一年長的時間了，在這個過程中我們發現彼此的風格可以很好的互相配合起來，於是我們決定一起創作屬於我們的歌曲”，後來鍵盤手Captain的加入構築了現在的POTF.
