today I read the Paragraph 17 and 18.
These two paragraphs are really interesting. As the author said in the 16th paragraph, it's not easy to be normal. Every can be showing off for sometimes. So it's really a surprising thing which that happened on the woman. We need great self-restraint to avoid showing off.
In the 17th paragraph, the author gave out something of himself as an example. He wanted to tell us that everyone want wants to be known to all. If we have some achievements, we also want to tell others. Everyone need needs to be praised. This is a reason why showoffs isareacceptable sometimes.
In 18th paragraph, the author said he calmed down at last. In my opinion, although everyone want wants to be praised by others, we don't want to show that we are showing off.
