生平身為演員的他同時也是一個作家，他的第一本書《Brushing the Tip of Fame》於2004年出版。自從1994年參加挪威電影節至今，他曾在挪威，澳大利亞，英國工作生活過，在美國也呆過一段，他會將挪威語，但更擅長英語。
