人物簡介
Maren Whitney Ord出生於1981年2月28日，一位加拿大的流行搖滾歌手，她出生並成長在埃德蒙頓，是家裡10個孩子的老八，家庭也是一個音樂世家，爸爸是一位音樂教授，她的母親教他唱歌跟鋼琴，15歲的時候開始學會吉他，1998年的時候，她參加了一個叫莉莉絲的博覽會，在那裡遇到了一位加拿大的音樂公司經理，看過她的演出之後便與她簽約。她的首張專輯”waiting“由Stephen Hague製作，在倫敦，紐約錄製，在2001年發行，藉助首張專輯，Ord獲得了Juno Award的最佳新人提名。專輯中”Perfect“為”電影風雨哈佛路“的片尾曲，我想國內也是借這電影的片尾曲才知道Ord的吧。目前與丈夫喬，和兩個年幼的兒子，傑克遜和諾亞居住在埃德蒙頓的阿爾伯塔河谷地區。
