研究方向：
主要從事雷射化學研究
1. 分子、自由基雷射光譜和光化學
2. 分子碰撞傳能
3. 共振螢光輻射束縛理論研究
承擔過中科院重大、中科院"七五"重中之重、國家基金委"七五"重大、"八五"國家攀登計畫項目的研究課題及基金委自由申請、重點基金等多項研究項目。現主要從事"瞬態分子光譜及態分辨動力學"研究。
在射流冷卻自由基雷射光譜、分子-原子間V-E傳能、共振螢光輻射束縛的研究中取得了一批創新的，有特色的成果。曾獲中國科學院科技成果一等獎及其它院、省級獎項。
先後發表專著一冊及科研論文100餘篇。
