陳曉東[蘇州大學化工創新實驗室主任]

陳曉東,蘇州大學材料與化學化工學部化工與環境工程學院教授、博士生導師。蘇州大學化工創新實驗室主任,“千人計畫”引進人才,紐西蘭皇家科學院院士,澳大利亞技術科學工程院院士。

人物簡歷

現任蘇州大學傑出教授,化學與環境工程院院長。廈門大學與Monash大學客座教授。1965年出生於北京, 1987年畢業於清華大學工程力學系,1991年於坎特伯雷大學(Canterbury University)獲得化學過程工程博士學位。紐西蘭皇家科學院院士(2000),澳大利亞工程院院士(2007),國家“千人計畫”(第二批)引進人才(2010)。主要研究方向為仿生化工,食品與生物化工,功能顆粒技術,換熱器的結垢與清洗,自燃現象及套用數學分析等。

陳曉東院士於1999-2006年任紐西蘭食品工程協會主席,先後擔任紐西蘭奧克蘭大學(The University of Auckland)化工與材料系終身講席教授 (2001;37歲)、澳大利亞蒙納士大學(Monash University)化工系生物技術與化學工程講席教授(2006;41歲)、蒙納士大學工程學院副院長(2007-2009)。2010年初至2012年底,曾任廈門大學化學化工學院化學工程與生物工程系系主任。  

到目前為止,陳曉東院士已發表約430篇學術雜誌論文、220餘篇會議論文、出版了4本論著(包括2013年劍橋大學出版社出版的乾燥反應工程模型一書)和完成了50多個工業諮詢項目綜合報告,並在歐,亞,大洋洲國際會議發表了幾十個大會主題演講。還擔任了一些國際期刊的編委。陳院士曾獲得過許多榮譽, 如澳洲化工學會(1999)SheddenUdhe獎章(青年科學家獎) (Australia),第八屆國際食品工程大會青年食品工程師獎(2000)(Mexico City),紐西蘭皇家科學院工程與物理最佳研究獎 (E R Cooper獎章)(2002),亞太地區化學工程年會最實用文章獎(2002)(Christchurch),John Hood學者獎(2005);廈門大學南強學者獎(2005),大洋洲4個化學工程大獎之一:首屆恆天然套用生物與食品工程傑出獎(Fonterra Award)(Australia),亞太地區乾燥年會傑出乾燥研究貢獻獎(2007)(Hong Kong),對乾燥研究與發展長期貢獻獎(Taylor and Francis)(2007)(Hong Kong),IDS國際乾燥學會傑出乾燥研究獎(AFSIA Award)(乾燥學基礎在工業中的套用)(2008)(Hyderabad),2004--2012年度,五個對世界乾燥文獻做最多貢獻人之一,2009年度澳大利亞蒙納士(Monash)大學工程學院院長傑出研究獎(2009),Monash大學校長最佳博士生導師特別獎(HDR student supervisor) (2010),Taylor and Francis國際乾燥技術貢獻獎(2012)等等。江蘇省雙創(創業)人才(2013)(南通)。江蘇省雙創(創新)團隊領軍人才(2014)(蘇州)。陳曉東是2012年國際乾燥技術大會(The 18th International Drying Symposium–IDS 2012)的主席。2014年在法國召開的國際乾燥技術大會(The 19IDS – IDS2014)上獲得IDS奠基人獎。

陳院士的工作特點是通過對基礎的理解與創新意識和靈感相結合,簡化複雜的工程問題從而簡單有效的解決實際問題。 通過創造性的科研給產業帶來可觀的效益。減少能源利用與減少環境污染並提高產品質量,提高人類生活的品質並為社會進步服務。已親自指導了100多名碩士與博士到成功畢業。在蘇大,陳院士主講一年級的“化工導論”課程。陳院士的業餘愛好包括繪畫,讀書,參觀博物館,欣賞流行音樂與散步等。
