作者介紹
比爾・柯林頓（BillClinton）是美國第四
十二任總統。1946年出生在美國南部的阿肯
色州。他小時候家境貧寒，出生前父親已去世，
由經營一家小雜貨鋪的祖父撫養長大。曾入華
盛頓喬治・敦大學攻讀外交政策，1967年留
學英國牛津大學，1970年又入耶魯大學，1973
年畢業後回家鄉阿肯色州工作。
他1976年通過競選擔任該州的首席檢察
官，1978年和1982年曾兩次當選阿肯色州州
長，任總統前已擔任該州州長長達十二年之
久。他的對外政策的核心是美國應該在國際上
發揮更大的“領導作用”，對內政策的重點是解
決經濟問題。
比爾・柯林頓的妻子希拉蕊・柯林頓
（HilaryClint0n）畢業於耶魯大學法律系，是一
位有名望的律師。
