定義
程函(eikonal)方程(也有稱短時距方程或幾何光學方程)是當使用WKB理論來近似波動方程時在波動傳播問題中碰到的非線性偏微分方程。它從電磁學的麥克斯韋爾方程組導出,並在物理 (波動)光學和幾何 (射線)光學之間起連線作用。
