個人經歷
石桂秀,男,主任醫師,風濕病學教授,博士,博士研究生導師。四川省衛生廳學術帶頭人。四川省免疫學會理事長。中國免疫學會常務理事。國家自然科學基金二審專家。成都市醫學會風濕免疫專業委員會主任委員。1985年畢業於河北承德醫學院醫學系,1992年於蘇州醫學院獲碩士學位,92年起,於大連大學附屬中山醫院從事風濕免疫工作,其間1995-2000年任該院風濕免疫科主任。2000年底赴加拿大蒙特婁大學醫學中心攻讀博士學位,2004年獲博士學位。博士畢業後在位於美國紐約州的Trudeau研究所從事博士後研究。2007年2月任美國德州大學助理教授,同年10月被華西醫院一層次人才引進,任風濕免疫學教授並被遴選為博士生導師。多年來致力於風濕免疫病的臨床與科研工作。發表高水平學術論文多篇。對風濕病的病因、發病機制有較深入的研究。目前主持國家自然基金重點項目繼續圍繞風濕病的發病機制和治療進行研究。2011年獲“廈門雙百”創新人才稱號。並被聘為廈門大學醫學院教授,廈門大學第一醫院主任醫師。同年被聘為福建中醫藥大學碩士/博士生導師。

在研科研課題:《Gaq對B細胞分化的調控及其與自身免疫病的關係》 國家自然科學基金重點項目。課題負責人,2009-2012。
研究方向:一、免疫調控與免疫耐受,免疫耐受的打破被認為是自身免疫性疾病產生的基礎而誘導耐受又是移植免疫的重要研究課題。我們試圖通過研究免疫細胞的調控來進一步認識免疫耐受以期達到發現自身免疫病診斷和治療的新靶點。 二、風濕病的病機和治療學研究。從免疫學的角度研究風濕病的發病機制和探索免疫治療的新途徑。
