內容提要
《新編英語語法教程》（第二版）分為“學生用書”和“教師用書”。“教師用書”包括兩大部分：（一）英文講授提綱，（二）練習參考答案。英文講授提綱是嚴格按照“學生用書”的章節順序編寫的，只是例句從略，或者為了行文方便或多或少附列少量例旬。因此，在使用時，應與“學生用書”相對照。英文講授提綱的編寫是為了滿足教師用英語備課的需要，僅是參考性的，如有不足之處，請予指點改正。
練習參考答案，顧名思義，也是參考性的，因為不少練習題可有不同答案，而本書通常只給一種。還有一些練習題的答案雖然給了，但未說明所以然，在教學中還需進一步講解。這就是說，雖然有了練習答案，教師仍有自行發揮的餘地。只有少數練習的答案從略。
《教程》初版原是一本語法教材，在編寫時側重於重點突出，便於教學，而對所給語法知識的系統性注意得不夠。這次修訂，經過大量的填平補齊，使本書既有實踐性，又有系統性；既便於教學，又有一定的參考價值。為了便於查考，特在書後附錄一個較詳細的“索引”以及“語法術語英漢對照表”，使之更好地發揮參考作用。
作者簡介
章振邦，新編英語語法教程的主編，從事多年英語報社編輯，1980年出國留學。1988年擔任美國紐約時報副編輯，同年3月進入美國著名大學哈佛大學語言專業學院學習。精通多國語言，榮獲哈佛大學語言專業博士學位。1993年應邀國家國務院總理朱鎔基聘請回國就任對外使節，上海外國語大學校長、教育部語言研辦公室主任。
