■ 海洋生物化學與分子生物學,重點為海洋生物新功能基因的發現;

主要貢獻
海洋生物技術(國際)雜誌編委,北海國發海洋生物產業股份有限公司董事、總工程師,國家“863”計畫海洋生物技術主題專家組成員,中國航海醫學會海洋生物工程專業委員會委員,中國中西藥結合學會實驗醫學專業委員會委員,珍珠免疫與代謝調控因子發明人之一。
