用途：	本種為角倍蚜和倍蛋蚜的冬寄主植物。
描述：	Plants large and stout. Fertile stems to 3 cm long, with few leaves; procumbent stems to 5 cm long, fasiculate with radicles. Stem leaves obovate-oblong, rounded-obtuse, apiculate, not decurrent; margins indistinctly bordered by 3, sometimes 2-4 rows of rectangular or sublinear cells, 85-160 × 20-35 m, yellowish, thin-walled; marginal teeth usually unicellular, rarely composed of 2-3 cells; costa unconspicuous, ending just below the apiculus. Median laminal cells hexagonal, thin-walled, 90-130 × 40-60 m, towards margin and apex smaller; lower cells similar to the median ones. Dioicous. Setae 1-2, or often 3 or 4 from each perichaetium, flexuose when dry, ca. 3 cm long. Capsules cernuous, oblong. Opercula shortly rostrate. Exostome teeth yellowish-brown; cilia of endostome 2-3. Calyptrae cucullate, with a long beak. The complete absence of decurrent bases, and the larger cell size could separate it from P. vesicatum. The leaf border is much less differentiated than in all the other species
