內容提要
國際政治經濟專業英語本書以國際政治經濟領域為基礎，主要取材於近年公開出版的英文原版著作和在國際上具有重要影響的專業期刊，具有理論分析與現實政治經濟相結合的特點。
全書共分七個單元，每個單元都反映了國際政治經濟的特定領域。
為方便教學和讀者自學，本書配有十萬餘字的英文注釋，主要涉及課文的特定背景知識、術語解釋和部分語言難點。

作者簡介
劉文秀，女，漢族，中共黨員，1988年畢業於吉林大學政治學系，獲法學碩士學位。現為中國人民大學國際關係學院副教授，專業外語教研室主任。長期從事國際政治、國際關係類課程的教學與研究工作。主要研究方向：國際政治/歐洲政治經濟。主要講授課程：《歐洲政治經濟》、《歐洲聯盟政體研究》、《專業英語精讀》、《專業英語口譯》等。 近幾年在《國際問題研究》、《歐洲》、《世界經濟與政治》、《現代國際關係》等國內權威核心刊物、論文集和國際學術研討會上發表學術論文20餘篇：主要代表作為：《歐洲一體化性質及特點分析》，《界定歐盟政體性質的幾個因素》，《歐盟國家主權讓渡的特點、影響及理論思考》，《歐盟理事會政策制定機制探析》，《歐洲聯盟的競爭政策》，《從冷戰後的民族問題看“人道主義干預”》等。 主要著作為：《歐洲聯盟政策及政策過程研究》，法律出版社2002年版，53萬字，（合著，第一著者） 主編中英文兩種版本的《歐洲聯盟政策制訂機制與政策領域教學大綱》計17萬字，在《歐洲問題研究論壇》2000年第3、4期上分別發表；主編《國際政治經濟專業英語》，校內試用教材，待出版。 1996年作為訪問學者赴英國紐卡斯爾大學研訪半年，1998年作為訪問學者在法國波爾多第四大學研訪半年。
