2004年6月畢業於解放軍軍需大學,獲理學博士學位。2006年7月至2013年1月期間,分別在清華大學、美國普渡大學和沙烏地阿拉伯國王科技大學做博士後。2012年底入選中國科學院引進海外傑出人才“百人計畫”。已在Plant Journal、Plant Physiology and Plant Cell等國際權威雜誌上發表SCI論文17篇。目前學科組研究興趣主要集中在能源植物油桐高油脂新種質創新和可再生生物質能源開發。
