本書從突出行業特點、實訓特點以及培養套用型人才的總體目標出發,以學習者套用能力培養為主線,結合國際旅遊業與北京旅遊景點發展的新形勢和新特點,依照英語導遊服務場景、工作流程和工作要點,主要介紹北京英語導遊應具備的專業知識和技能,注重“職業性、交際性、互動性、實效性和實用性” 本書融入了北京導遊英語最新的教學理念,突出“以任務為導向,以學生為核心”的教育模式,教師的作用不再體現為系統地傳授知識,而是“啟發”和“指導” 學生自主學習,創造性地學習,從而能夠充分提高學生的綜合素
質、業務水平、服務技能,儘快適應職業崗位。
本書既可以作為旅遊職業院校旅遊專業和英語專業的教材,也可以作為高等教育自學考試、成人教育、職業教育教材,以及旅行社從業人員的崗位培訓和導遊證考試輔導教材。

圖書前言

旅遊作為文化創意產業的核心支柱,在國際交往、豐富社會生活、促進經濟發展、構建和諧社會、弘揚中華文化等方面發揮著越來越大的作用。旅遊業已成為我國服務經濟發展的重要產業,在我國經濟發展中占有極其重要的位置。
作為中國旅遊產業龍頭城市的北京,奧運會的成功舉辦所帶來的城市硬體和產業軟體設施的大幅提升,為北京旅遊業的跨越式發展提供了堅實基礎。面向“十二五”,北京市將著眼世界一流,努力將旅遊業培育成首都經濟的重要支柱產業和人民民眾更加滿意的現代服務業,力爭2015年實現“一、十、百、千、億”的發展目標,即:創建國際一流城市,旅遊產業增加值占全市GDP(國內生產總值)的10%以上,入境旅遊收入超過100億美元,入境游接待量超過1000萬人次,國內遊客達到2億人次。北京將圍繞“中國特色世界城市”的戰略目標,打造中國入境旅遊者首選目的地、亞洲商務會展旅遊之都和國際一流旅遊城市。
旅遊人才是旅遊發展的第一資源,英語導遊人才更是北京旅遊業發展的奇缺資源。國家旅遊產業的快速發展,也對旅遊人才提出了新的要求。今後培養的旅遊人才應具備廣博的知識、較強的人際交往能力和較高的外語水平,既要懂專業、又要具備高素質。為滿足日益增長的旅遊市場需求、為培養社會急需的旅行社專業人才,我們組織多所旅遊院校、旅遊專業的英語專業教師和具有多年從業經驗的旅行社專職導遊共同精心編撰了此教材,旨在迅速提高大學生和旅行社導遊員的專業素質,更好地服務於首都旅遊事業。
