人物簡介1998-2003年任香港中文大學物理系教授、系主任;2001-2003年任香港中文大學材料科學和技術研究中心主任;1998年至今任香港中文大學先進表面材料測試分析中心主任;2002年至今任香
港中文大學科學技術研究所主任;2003年至今任任香港中文大學理學院院長。曾主持完成過數十項國外及香港資助項目。其研究工作已發表SCI收錄論文近200篇,其中有數十篇發表在影響因子為3以上的學術雜誌上。代表性論文及專利

馬克思主義理論學科帶頭人。現任江蘇省思想政治理論課教學指導委員會委員,江南大學社會科學處副處長,陳獨秀研究會常務理事,江蘇省思想政治理論課教學指導委員會委員,江蘇省學習實踐科學發展觀宣講團成員。。主要從事當代中國的馬克思主義、政治學等方面的教學與研究,近年來在《人民日報》、《中共黨史研究》、《中國社會科學院研究生院學報》、《江海學刊》等報刊發表文論多篇,著有《中國特色的政黨制度》等著作,目前主持國家社科基金項目1項、教育部社科基金項目1項、省社科基金項目1項及其他項目多項,獲省、市級社科獎2項。
