2002年11月20日，中海油服在香港聯合交易所主機板上市（股票代碼：2883）。2004年3月26日起，中海油服股票以一級美國存托憑證的方式在美國櫃檯市場進行交易（股票編號為CHOLY）。2007年9月28日，中海油服A股在中國上海證券交易所成功掛牌交易（股票代碼：601808）。

China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) is the largest integrated oilfield service provider in China offshore market with main businesses including geophysical, drilling, well services, marine support & transportation and services covering exploration, development and production phases of oil and gas.
COSL possesses a powerful offshore oilfield service equipment fleet and operates 23 drilling rigs, 2 accommodation rigs, 4 modular rigs, 6 land rigs, 88 plus offshore supply vessels of various types, 8 seismic vessels, 4 geotech survey vessels, 3 crude oil shuttle tankers and 5 chemical vessels, and a number of advanced well service equipment for logging, drilling fluids, directional drilling, cementing and workover services, such as FET, LWD and Geowaves.
During 40 plus years of development, COSL has introduced and assimilated international technological advancements and management concepts. Subsequently, COSL has created a great number of advanced technologies with its own intellectual property rights such as ELIS (Enhanced Logging Imaging System) and put them into operation successfully.
COSL can provide stand alone service for customers, and also can provide bundled services of bundled contract. COSL services not only cover China but also extend to 18 other countries and regions in the world. On November 20, 2002, COSL was listed on the Main Board of Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 2883). Since March 26, 2004, COSL H Share can be transacted by means of Level 1 American Depositary Receipts in US over-the-counter market (stock No.: CHOLY). On September 28, 2007, COSL Share was successfully listed for trading on Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 601808).
