McCartney的孩子在McCartney 64歲生日時在Abbey Road錄音室錄製了一個特別版本的《When I'm Sixty-Four》作為生日禮物，並在他的生日party上表演。在Giles Martin的幫助下，他們改寫了歌詞以符合情景。當時，McCartney正受離婚之擾，當時他與第二任妻子Heather Mills即將離婚。
在2007年的喜劇電影《Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story》中，McCartney （由Jack Black飾演)和Lennon (由Paul Rudd飾演)正在爭吵，Lennon嘲笑道，“我猜你的歌到我64歲的時候仍然是坨屎。”
