Scorpions（漢譯蠍子樂隊），德國最著名的重金屬搖滾樂團。
Scorpions 70年代初期發跡於漢堡北方的工業重地漢諾瓦。在樂團靈魂人物吉他手的，也是創團團員的Rudolf Schender，以及聲音讓人一聽就難以忘懷的主唱Klaus Meine的帶領下，Scorpions以狂泄的快速吉他演奏、強有力的打擊樂器以及輻射極高能量的演唱風格成為歐洲70年代數一數二的重金屬領導樂團，主唱Klaus可以飆高到震懾人心地步的歌聲，亦成為Scorpions最著名的代表特色之一。80年代中期Scorpions以首席的遙滾樂團之姿狂野橫掃歐美樂壇，是少數獲得全球性成功的歐洲樂團。他們擁有三張排行Top 10經典專輯：《Blackout》、《Love at First Sting》、和《Savage Amusement》。1988年Scorpions更成為第一支到蘇俄表演的重金屬樂團。
蠍子樂隊Scorpions最早成立於1969年，由 Rudolf Schenker（主唱/節奏吉他手），Karl-Heinz Follmer（主音吉他手），Lothar Heimberg（貝斯手），Wolfgang Dziony（鼓手）組成。1971年，Rudolf Schenker 的弟弟 Michael Schenker 加入樂隊，擔任成為主音吉他一職，好朋友 Klaus Meine 則離開了漢諾瓦樂團Copernicus，成為新的主唱。Rudolf Schenker和Klaus Meine成為頂尖的詞曲創作二人組，為一個成功的故事立下基石。1972年，Scorpions 推出了第一張專輯《Lonesome Crow》，專輯中的一些歌曲後來被用在一部電影的原聲唱片中。這張專輯由Conny Plank在漢堡製作。這時，我們已能聽到後來發展成Scorpions典型音樂的嗓音和樂器成分∶不妥協的吉他主導硬式搖滾，脈絡承襲自六零年代中期的Jimi Hendrix、Cream和Led Zeppelin。Scorpions的樂風結合了兩把電吉他∶獨特、強勁有力的吉他刷弦加上有創意和爆發力的吉他獨奏。在吉他鋪陳之上，是主唱和團長Klaus Meine鮮明、富旋律性且成熟世故的聲音線。Scorpions為了從一開始就晉身國際硬式搖滾樂壇，因此Klaus Meine用英文寫所有的歌詞，這在德國搖滾樂壇是前所未見的。

蠍子樂隊重金屬搖滾樂隊的代表、來自德國漢諾瓦的Scorpions（蠍子樂隊）成立於1965年！可以說，Scorpions是近40年來最具有現場衝擊力的搖滾樂隊。這支樂隊總是不斷的創造出在硬搖滾史上占有一席之地的絕佳之作。直到為止，仍然沒有一張單張的精選合集能夠充分體現這支樂隊的特點和搖滾魅力。
蠍子樂隊的最大特點就是他們是旋律優美的金屬樂隊，他們的音樂里沒有傳統搖滾金屬概念中的喧囂和嘈雜，只是靜靜的，慢慢的優美的旋律！成立然後，只剩下3位當時的成員。三名團員Klaus Meine、Rudolf Schenker和Matthias Jabs各有特色，後兩者都是技術高超的吉他手！！而Matthias Jabs還能作一手好曲子！如今的他們已經達到了一個新的搖滾境界，舉辦不插電演唱會，也與交響樂團合作演出！可以說是在享受著、回顧著自己的音樂和自己走過的路。很多的世界著名搖滾金屬樂隊的偶像都是蠍子樂隊，足以證明他們的影響力！！

最值得一提的就是那首曾被稱為德國國歌的《wind of change》，這首歌曲是他們在前蘇聯巡迴演出的時候，主唱Klaus Meine在莫斯科的大街上突發靈感，結合當時動盪的社會，將此歌曲的歌詞一氣呵成，後經Matthias Jabs的作曲，這樣一首比德國國歌更為經典的《變幻之風》就誕生了！大家不妨一聽！清脆的口哨聲，配上主唱那略帶沙啞的嗓音……

台北時間2010年1月25日下午訊息，據國外媒體報導，建隊40餘載的德國傳奇樂隊Scorpion(蠍子樂隊)在官方網站上宣布正式解散。
其官方聲明如下：
在過去的幾個月里，我們一直在為新專輯工作著。我們再次感受到了無窮的力量和創造力，而且在這個過程中我們還收穫著無比的快樂。但除了這些之外，我們還有著另一個想法。那就是我們想讓蠍子樂隊在事業的頂峰時結束這所有的輝煌。我們在2013年依然有著與組建樂隊時一樣的激情，對此我們心中都充滿著感激。我們一致認為2013年正是我們走到盡頭的時候。我們將以一張的專輯作為我們的謝幕，同時還將從我們的祖國德國開始展開一系列巡演來答謝我們所有的歌迷。

首度來華演出
2015年2月16日，打破壁壘、撼動地球的世界搖滾王牌蠍子樂隊確認將於2015年5月1日－2日在江蘇鎮江世業洲上舉辦的長江國際音樂節壓軸獻藝！
德國蠍子樂隊創始於1965年，50載自始至終都堅持重金屬、硬搖滾風格。樂隊現有成員包括Rudolf Schenker（節奏、主音吉他手）、Klaus Meine（主唱、吉他手）、 Matthias Jabs（主音、節奏吉他手）、James Kottak（鼓手）、Pawel Maciwoda（貝斯手）。一曲《Wind of Change》，自80年代末便風靡全球。悠揚的口哨、魔幻的吉他、穿越時空的韻律 － 蠍子樂隊在歷史的變革中譜寫了一曲後人再難以逾越的音樂里程碑，它的成功超越了種族、語言和年齡的限制。Youtube上高達1.08億次的視頻點擊率讓蠍子成為第一支點擊量突破1億大關的德國樂隊。樂迷對其音樂強有力的節拍、激昂頓挫的旋律和極富感染力的現場氛圍一直頂禮膜拜，這使得他們集聚了世界上最大和最具搖滾精神冬粉團之一。2015年五一的長江國際音樂節，蠍子樂隊將首次為中國樂迷們獻唱！
據悉，與其他音樂節不同，2015年長江國際音樂節將首度嘗試“音樂節”+“演唱會”的全新模式 － 此次將為中國的蠍子迷們傾心打造長達90分鐘的蠍子樂隊“回歸永恆50周年巡演”專場演唱會！這是2015長江音樂節在音樂品質上最有誠意的追求！相關負責人向記者表示，長江國際音樂節將以其長期積累的國際化運營班底全力服務蠍子樂隊，以便讓觀眾獲得國際化演唱會的完整體驗。該負責人還透露，蠍子樂隊將在音樂節上獻上多首經典曲目。
長江國際音樂節自2012年成立以來，一直秉承“音樂無界 生活萬歲 Unbounded Music · Enjoy Life”的理念，致力於打造最國際化的音樂節體驗。歷屆所邀藝人包括格萊美獲獎者Nile Rodgers、Ashley Davis、LIT樂隊等。在為期兩天的2015長江國際音樂節上，除蠍子樂隊外，DEMI LOVATO（美國流行歌手、2012年獲第38屆“人民選擇獎”最受歡迎流行歌手、《冰雪奇緣》電影主題曲《LET IT GO》的演唱者）也將為長江迷們激情獻上一場90分鐘的演唱會專場。
2015年五一假期的夜晚，揚子江畔將星光璀璨，帶上家人和朋友，雙手舉過頭頂，與台上的蠍子們齊聲高歌，一同迷醉，一同狂歡 ！
2016蠍子樂隊50周年“回歸永恆”巡迴演唱會
1969年成立，唱片全球銷量1億餘張，經典單曲《Wind Of Change》、《Still Loving You》等影響深遠，以狂野姿態橫掃歐美樂壇，受到從70年代無數搖滾樂手膜拜的教科書般傳奇樂隊——蠍子樂隊（Scorpions），繼長江音樂節壓軸獻唱後，再度來華“返場”，先後將於8月12日、8月14日，分別在廣州體育館和北京工人體育館，舉辦2016年蠍子樂隊50周年“回歸永恆“巡迴演唱會。本次巡演由北京春秋永樂文化傳播股份有限公司、北京華江億動文化傳媒有限公司、春秋永樂演藝投資（北京）有限公司共同主辦，北京華江億動文化傳媒有限公司進行製作。
據本次蠍子中國巡演主辦方之一、製作方華江億動CEO唐曉蕾女士介紹，此次蠍子樂隊來華巡演，是其成軍五十周年世界巡演的延續，也是2015年發行全新專輯《Return to Forever》的分享。蠍子樂隊以演唱會的形式在體育場館與中國樂迷見面，分享諸多經典與新作，是此次巡迴演出的看點。而製作方將以的規格打造舞台視覺及音響設備，力保到場觀眾能夠領略這支傳奇樂隊的音樂神話。
