Show off
In the passage, I get an information about the writer don’t like to show off himself in the public place. I see it from two spaces, one that “ over at the far end of the room ”, another that “ down at the other end of the room ”. I think that the writer is far away from the young woman and resident expert, and it must that a few people near him .he didn’t have any particular action in the Wilson’s annual party, if not he didn’t have time to observe other people and some person will cover his sight, so far away from who showing off.
Certainly he also will complain about something, and he said that every people will tried(try), they need to let off his emotions. There only wants to want to tell something to who interrelated of him.
In the begin of six paragraph ,the writer didn’t support or criticize of showing off .
