I agree with the view that the author stated in this section: To judge whether exulting is permissible form of showing off or mot(not) depends on the extent it is. If we don’t overdo it and know when to quit, it is acceptable to exult. On the contrary, when we overdo exulting, it is a typical behavior as showing off which is shameless.
However, I Disagree that exulting is shamelessly shouting our talents or triumphs to the world. In my opinion, shamelessly shouting our talents or triumphs to the world is overdoing exulting. You are pound of your talents or triumphs so you are joyful or jubilant. It is given no cause for criticism. But it is restricted within a certain degree or just exulting in your own heart—that’s enough.
The author said we are allowed from time to time, to exult. But we should pay attention to the condition “if clause” before this conclusion. Only when we do the former condition, can we exult.
