I got some questions when I (have )read the paragraph from 2 to 5. There are many long words in the paragraph 2. I didn’t know the meanings of each word definitely. I looked them up in the dictionary. But I could not understand the connotation of the article completely by the meaning of words which from dictionary. For instant, “ancient philosophers believed that happiness accompanied a life of intelligent reflections”. What is the meaning of the intelligent in this sentence? Why the happiness related to the intelligent?
The different people have different ways to feel happiness. When we fell in love with somebody we felt happiness. When we spent a lot of time for a difficulty assignment and solved it in the end, we could feel happiness. The Roman philosopher Cicero said, “There is no fool who is happy, and no wise man who is not”.
In my opinion, happiness should be Connected with something what we are doing. When we feel happiness, we might get the result what we are doing or we might get the purpose what we have expected for long time. So when we finished something by our intelligence we could feel happiness.
Happiness is simple.
