k'naan的《Wavin Flag》（中文：《飄揚的旗幟》）的歌曲經過了多輪的評審於2010年南非世界盃抽籤前夕最終被選為了南非世界盃的官方主題曲。
《飄揚的旗幟》是他今年2月底發行的專輯《游吟詩人》中的一首歌，歌曲帶有濃郁的非洲氣息，表達了對這片充滿戰火、貧窮和落後的土地不離不棄的熱愛。在今年9月國際足聯舉行的世界盃主題曲徵集中，克南將自己的歌曲寄給了國際足聯，最終被國際足聯所認可，成為了南非世界盃的主題歌。據悉，克南將特別為世界盃重新製作一款混音版的《飄揚的旗幟》用於宣傳，兩個版本屆時都將收錄在南非世界盃歌曲專輯之中。
