劇情簡介
丹澤爾華盛頓的角色是飾演一位初次犯案的囚犯，典獄長提出一項交易一你
要去說服你那全國高中籃球賽冠軍隊的兒子，加入州政府指定的大學（州立大學
），事成之後便有機會得到減刑。雷 阿倫的角色比丹澤爾華盛頓更有發揮空間，
丹澤爾華盛頓和旅館的妓女的關係到最後發生衝突，他們之間的對手戲事全劇中
最棒的部份，最終，全劇從父子的爭吵到典型的雷 阿倫和經紀人為權益而起衝突
豐富的劇情中落幕。

幕後製作
這是一部典型的籃球+夢想的電影，飾演Jesus的是現實中球品球技均有口皆碑的NBA名將，當時效力於密爾沃基雄鹿隊的雷阿倫。此前也有奧尼爾，羅德曼等NBA明星出演過電影，但大都毫無深度可言，徒增笑爾，但這次雷阿倫的發揮空間更大，也他的表現也更令人驚喜。Danzel Washington飾演片中的父親，本片也是他和紐約尼克斯隊的鐵桿球迷，導演Spike Lee的第三次合作。
